LittleViewer
Videos parents trust. Kids love.
Why
Finding something good for kids to watch shouldn't mean hoping the next video is a good one. YouTube has plenty to discover, but not every video belongs in a child's watchlist.
LittleViewer is a simpler place to start: parents helping parents find videos they feel good about. Our goal is less searching, more thoughtful choices, and a small corner of the internet shaped by parents, for parents.
How it works
- Parents suggest videos. Submissions wait outside the kids catalog until a real reviewer has made a decision.
- The Parent Preview Crew watches and chooses. Approved reviewers pick an age band and give every approval a strictness rating. Signing up alone does not grant review access.
- You choose what suits your family. Search and filter by age or rating, then save favorites and build private playlists. Nothing plays automatically.
- Parents can raise concerns. Reports can send an approved video back for another human review. Videos waiting for review are hidden from public browsing and private lists.
Who is it for?
Parents who want a more thoughtful starting point, and parents who'd like to help other families find something worth watching. You don't need a public profile to make a private watchlist.
Join the Parent Preview Crew
Bring your judgment, curiosity, and care. Tell us a little about yourself and why you'd like to help. The admin reads each request before granting review access.
A note for every family
Reviews, age bands and ratings are people's judgments, not a promise that a video suits every child. Stay involved and choose what works for yours. Topic tags suggested from title words are not a safety review.
Privacy
Your saved videos and playlists are private to your signed-in account. Crew applications are visible to the applicant and admin. Videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced player.
